front bumper

Hey everybody
I have noticed that some 93-97 camaros have a pointed front bumper and others have a "flat nose" bumper(kinda like the 98-02camaros). I am interested in a flat nose bumper and an ss hood for my 97 z28. Am I looking at ground effects or is there such a thing?

Thanks for the help

Re: front bumper

the "flat nose" bumper must have been something aftermarket. I have no idea what though..

Re: front bumper

Yah, you're really going to need to post pics.

93-97 Firebird (V6/Formula)

93-97 Trans Am

Maybe this is what you're talking about?

Re: front bumper

Only 1 bumper style, all pointy. Some ground effects make it look less pointy, but not really to much extent.

Re: front bumper

Yall are right. Thanks for the info. I think the license plate housing makes it look less pointy. I guess I need to find a 98-02 front end to put on my car. Anybody know the cost of the body parts I would need?

Re: front bumper

After seeing that I think I'm gonna swap my nose clip for a ta nose clip, I think my nose clip must be shimmed differently or something, perhaps it's the darker color, idk. But my cars front clip doesn't look as sloped and round as it does on the red car

Kinda liking the looks of that fin on the rear deck too, just gotta get some different park lights and the foam insert for the front end mod, and I know where one sits, woohoooo, time for some body work.
