If I had the cash I'd definately go with a mecham spoiler. Since you won't have GFX or being lowered, definately get the mecham. The commando would look like *** on a car with out gfx and 19" wheels.

I personally say commando if you have rims and gfx. If not, commando won't look right. I ave gfx, 18 inch corvette rims, and the wing will be coming soon (still looking at hoods). But as for the mechan hood that was listed, I think that is a HUGE waste of money. Its what, 2-3 inches taller in the middle then the STOCK spoiler? That just seems like a waste of money because you aren't really getting a new spoiler. I'd go with commando, then the RKsport high rise spoiler, and then if I didn't like those, I'd go with SS. I don't want to copy another car like the SS just b/c to me (no flaming, I said b/c to ME) that would be like rice. We all laugh when we see a civic dx with "type R" all over it. But since I will have a commando spoiler and Z06 vette rims, I don't think that is rice simply because its not "a higher version" of my car. Just my 2 cents
There's one major thing you overlooked. Yeah people would laugh at that car. That's because it had Type R badges on a non Type R. If that car had some Type R stuff on it without Type R badges, no one would laugh. Huge difference. And just because the SS spoiler isn't a huge difference from the stock spoiler (actually you might be suprised what a difference it does make and how far away you can see it) doesn't mean you have to go rice or get a huge one. It isn't the size that matters in this case.

I personally feel if I wanted the SS hood and SS spoiler, I would have purchased an SS camaro. I'm not bashing anyone who has purchased anything that is from the SS camaro. But you mention the SS does so much for the car, well last time I checked, more people notice the commando spoiler then the SS.

I think the commando is a nice spoiler if you are more on the show size then the speed. As for performance, the SS spoiler might be more helpful. But I didn't buy an SS so I don't want to take away from the SS by any means. I mean if a 6 cyl put Z28 on the side, that wouldn't make a Z28 look good. But everyone has their OWN style and taste, so do what ya want. Good luck on whatever spoiler you do choose
