Question Step inside with your opinions on a spoiler

I have a black Z, pics on site in sig...
Lowered, no GFX now or ever.
I will have a hood this year tho.
I have an opportunity to pick up a Commando wing.
It's not low profile at all. I am concerned it won't fit with the look of my car without GFX and fancy rims.
What do you guys think?

Does anyone have any pics or links to pics of this wing on a low slung Z without GFX? I tried Brent's site, but the pics are of either convertibles, GFX coupes, or the 1 stock Z with the 4x4 stance. I can't really tell anything from those pics.
HELP!
TIA
Dave

I wouldn't do a commando spoiler, myself. I think there are plenty of others that look a lot better.

I went for the simple look of the 96-97 SS Spoiler...

I wouldn't go with the commando spoiler unless you get both Lowering springs, AND a bodykit, and larger wheels.

Then it might look OK...

I think of it as the way the 98+ should have looked, like like a 96-97 updated

Commando wing =

No matter how you slice it.....

I wonder when we'll get the other "wannabe aggressive" ricer parts. Aggressor bumper, Blitz kit, etc.

I personally say commando if you have rims and gfx. If not, commando won't look right. I ave gfx, 18 inch corvette rims, and the wing will be coming soon (still looking at hoods). But as for the mechan hood that was listed, I think that is a HUGE waste of money. Its what, 2-3 inches taller in the middle then the STOCK spoiler? That just seems like a waste of money because you aren't really getting a new spoiler. I'd go with commando, then the RKsport high rise spoiler, and then if I didn't like those, I'd go with SS. I don't want to copy another car like the SS just b/c to me (no flaming, I said b/c to ME) that would be like rice. We all laugh when we see a civic dx with "type R" all over it. But since I will have a commando spoiler and Z06 vette rims, I don't think that is rice simply because its not "a higher version" of my car. Just my 2 cents

What's the diff in the Mecham Z29R spoiler and the '96-'97 SS spoiler? Does the Mecham spoiler raise up sharper/higher than the SS?

the spoiler is like a 98+ SS spoiler look with the LED 3rd break light but w/o the two posts in the middle.

The commando doesn't look good on any Camaro IMO. It looks tacky and cheap to me...
