Exclamation

Do a search on these forums for that topic. You'll find several things interesting...like the pre 98 SS spoiler is QUITE different from the 98-up spoiler. You'll find various issues people have had wiring up these spoilers and their LED's, you'll find some sites that sell an SS style spoiler, but the lip sits an inch or 2 higher giving it quite a different look, while other sites tend to replicate the SS spoiler more to spec. Either way, you'll find that a GM SS spoiler will more than likely fit right the first time, whereas an aftermarket SS spoiler will almost alwasy require quite a bit of work for proper fitment.

Like I said...do some searches on forum...you'll see what I mean.

I'm looking for a '98-up SS spoiler and from what I've been told I shouldn't even mess with an aftermarket one. I'm going to call up a few FBody salvage places until I find one off a real SS.

Ive been working on my SS clone too... I put the front end off a 2001 SS on my 94 Z from speed automotive and I bought my SS spoiler from www.newwayautosports.com for $258 shipped... which is an awesome price! you should check them out.
