Quick questions on the aftermarket ss style hood, I just put one on my Z and it's a non functional hood, but the air does go through the scoop (i guess to keep the engine cool). Anyways since air is forced through, then what happens when it rains or when i run the car through the car wash??? will water get in and hurt the engine

 

I think you should be fine, because I have an SS style hood on my car and it has been on their for two years. I have driven in snow, ice storms and rain and my car is still running strong. So it should be all good.
