Good Tires?

Alright i am lookin for a pair of tires for my bird... When i lowered my car, i never got the camber adjusted so my front tires are shot.... Right now i have BFG Comp TA and they work great IMO, not as sticky as i would like, but very hard, they leave dust rather then rubber on pavement... I was wonderin what other tires were pretty good... I need something thats all-weather, speed rated, and pretty affordable...
also, this may sound like a dumb question, but will replacing your upper ball joints throw off your camber?
Also, does anyone else know the camber specs for a bird with Sportlines?
Eibach says go with factory specs, but a few shops i went to said they were a little iffy about it

when you replace the springs, the alignment needs adjusting. sears does it for fifty bucks, and a 3 onth warranty. replacing the ball joint with a direct replacement unit will not affect the camber or caster. if you are replacing it, id suggest getting a new upper control arm. for a few more bucks to have the joint unpressed and repressed, you can have a control arm that is designed with a lowered vehicle in mind. they arent that expensive.

any way, to answer your question, i have dunlop sp5000's, and they are very nice, and only 195 a tire(i think) but for only 325, you can have the best tire on the market, michilin pilot sports. 425 tread wear rating, zr rated, and a sweet looking tread pattern.

also, look into firehawk sz50, bridgestone protenze re730, dunlop sp9000, nitto extreme 550, but im staying away from goodyear and khumo. heard too much bad from them to even try them

Yea, I would say the Firehawl SZ50's will be a great tire...they are fairly cheap and have a really high dry traction rating...I know for the size I was looking for (255-45-17's) they were 164 a tire from tirerack...I suggest checking them out

nitto NT555 extreme ZR great street tire. fairly sticky, a lot more sticky than my last set of BFG's (not the KD, though). do well in the rain. i've got 25k on my set and still plenty of tread left...

good luck

Camaro's aren't really "all-season" either if you live up north...so for most people it is not a huge deal since they don't drive them much in the snow we get up my way
