um.........i think you're gonna have to just splice and connect the wires but im not sure i cant remember. But it will work fine the only problem is something changes in the voltage or something like that and it might cause you're ABS INOP light to turn on. Im not really sure why but i know there is a way to fix it. Just search.

The wiring will plug right in. Some aftermarket spoilers don't come with the plug in for the spoiler so you have to cut it off your old spoiler and splice it in. You will have to do something about the voltage or you will get an ABS light. Some people wire in resistors and some wire in relays. I did the relay way. If you do a search you will find instructions telling you how to do it.

Now that that's settled, what style? 96-97 or 98-02?

98-02. He said he wanted a spoiler with an LED. The 96-97 spoiler has a stock Camaro 3rd brake light.

Here is my buddies 97SS There are some decent spoiler pics.

Here is a 98+SS spoiler

The 96-97 SS spoiler will plug right in with no resistor. The 96-97 one looks good. I had one for a while but wanted a change and found a 98+ SS spoiler already painted black for less than i sold my 96-97 spoiler. The 96-97's kind of cost a little more because no one really makes a repo of it. I think one company does and it costs more than an OEM one. I sold my old 96-97 for $250+ shipping. Its hard to tell you which one to get its up to you. The 96-97's are rarer.

I don't remember how you have to wire a relay in. If you do a search and look around enough you can even find a post where some guy tells you the exact part to buy and the exact way to wire it up. Try searching under ss spoiler ABS or something. I bought my 98+ used off this board for $250 shipped and it was already black. I've heard some people say they've bought spoiler from spoilerdepot, and you get them already painted for really $$. Some say they're good, some say they're bad. The SS hood only adds a couple of inches to the stock hood. I have no idea if a carb would fit or not. It all depends on your intake manifold. Nobody really puts a carb on a 4th gen because the injection setup works well, plus you get good driveability and good fuel economy.
