SS hood search
After being jerked around by GM for close to 2 months they now tell me the 93-97 SS hood is no longer in production. A buddy that works for the local dealer verrified it. 0 balance world wide,
the last shipment went out early this month.
Well....now I'm in the market for a GOOD quality aftermarket hood that actually fits and dosn't look like it was made by 10 year olds. I would appreciate any nudges in the right direction.
HELP!

As long as they aren't lying - Available January 2004.
That would be your best bet - although very expensive.
If you can't find a used GM hood, then I would say FFI would be your next best bet.

They were also available 5 0ct and 7 nov. And I still don't have one. I've about had it with GM's estimate's of when they THINK they might have one. I can't send my car to paint until I get this. I'm looking for a used original or going aftermarket

I'd say you'll have a MUCH easier time going aftermarket. Suncoast and ASCD are sponsors and have specials from time to time. Either way it would be easier going through them or like 94blackbowtie said, go through FFI. They seem to have good products too.
