For all you Canadians with SS hoods....

Where's the best place to get one and how much did you pay?
Shipping from the U.S. is really costly!

It just kills me that no local shops carry SS hoods for Camaros, but instead they have them for Civics and Cavaliers

Any help would be appreciated,

Ummm. My buddy jsut ordered a ram air hood with the air box from Suncoast Creations (I think theyre in Florida) and he told me its $1700 canadian shipped. but i have a feeling its gonna be more. And I know hes gonna have to pay brokerage. And its still expensive. I remember seeing an add in the Buy&Sell or Super Shopper or triAD or something about an RKSport dealer in Ontario...cant remember what the shop was....try to find out. And alas you can try scrap yards. Paradise Alley is a Camaro/Firebird Scrap Yard. And as much as I dont like them and think they are over priced, they may be your best bet in your situation. I actually did try Paradise Alley today but was told they don't have any and rarely do. Same thing with a couple other scrap yards. I'll try to find out more about that RK Sport dealer.

i found your place www.fasttoys.net they have a wearhouse in winippeg.

 

Mopac Auto Supply in Vancouver and Calgary sell a harwood ss hood for about 950 cdn. No shipping just go and pick it up. I don't know where else in Canada they are but worth a look.

 

These are ls1 style hoods only.

Even if they where selling them, I'm sure the price would be outrageous. I've asked one of the store owners in the Kenedy & Steeles area about the price for WW body kit ~ 1700

I didn't know Fiberglass Fabricators shipped to Canada. I checked with them & shipping would cost me around $156. Not the greatest, but their prices are much better than some other companies. I'll also look into 1customfibreglass.com (gotta find the right website though) and Mopac Auto Supply.
