SS brake light plug (1999)

Where is it and how long is it? I pulled out the LED third brake light and did not see a plug to unplug it. How do I get to the plug to get the lens out?

Thanks

Chris

You might have to take off the interior trim panel, under the hatch, to un-plug it. I just got an SS spoiler and I am looking for the brake light. I went to the dealer to see what I would need and the pictures they have are very vague. I was hoping to be able to plug the SS brake light into my Z28 brake light harness. When you took your light out, could you tell how long the wiring harness is on it? On my Z28, the harness, with the bulbs, comes out from the back of the light. I then had to take off the interior trim panel to un-plug the other end. Could you let me know if your third brake light harness goes all the way through the spoiler and plugs in under the trim panel?

Thanks

That is what I am also wondering Just want to know where the plug is, so I do not have to take off/remove more than necessary just to unplug it. How would I fish the wires back throught the spoiler anyway? I will check it out though and let you know what I find
