[i]. Honestly boys and girls having a nice fast car is one thing but totally ruining an american icon is something else. ! [/B]
Totally agreed, but thats how you tell the enthuists.
Some people don't care about the history. Some people
Love one fbod and hate the other. Some people would
rather try to show another Fbod up than give him the
thumbs up. Some people have no taste. Some people
try so hard to be different that they end up looking just
like a bunch of others.

the original pictures were pretty bad but i stuck with it in tha thought that they could have done a few things and made it look good

then the new pics came out and they changed a but and it wasn't for the better

but... what is out thier for our cars that changes the shape or design of it? i remember a time when someone would have wanted big rims on thier car and you guys would make fun of them. now it seems to be the norm. what would you want in a body kit that would make it ok to have.
i think its cool that someone actually did something for our cars be it good or bad.
now if thier is an interest in this kit then someone else will make one and then ......... one day down the road maybe we will get something nice that has reaserch done to it to make better aerodynamics and give the cars a wider stance.... maybee its just a pipe dream

My friend has a 1999 Ford Mustang, 30th anniversary V6... at one point it had dual fart cans for exhaust... i made fun of him every single day for about 8 months until he got dual V-force mufflers for it. Now i make fun of him for his wannabe V8 style mufflers lol.

And i wasn't kidding. Every. Single. Day. We used to put coke cans and sh*t in there because the opening was like 4" and you could fit anything in there, and the thing was so weak it couldn't even push them out lol...

EVERY DAY.

Well ill tell you this much im definately not going to agree with really anything more than ground effects on a camaro/firebird honestly totally changing the bumper cover is EXTREMELY RICE! in fact i havent seen a tasteful one ever! My **** and his honda Civic that has a body kit on the front to make the front bumper twice the size of the car and the back bumper the same with a huge cut out for his OVERSIZED intercooler with a cheap *** walmart mesh grill over it with spray on primer paint. The last thing i want to see is a desicrated fbody cruising around with some tasteless front ends with about 200 holes cut in it seriously. Call me a hater if you want but 99.9% of us bought our cars because we love 3 things the heritage, the speed and the look of the cars. Not many of us bought our cars saying hey, how can i rip off the front of this ****er and make it look rice. anyway again just my .02 cents

JESUS!!! WHY??????????

Dude, please, for the love of god, no.....

"Im melting, what a world, o what a world......"

I sat here and tried to think of the proper thing to say but I just cant put it into words.

I can see how someone could like that but seriously, the shogun and combat kits dont even look good on imports....

Even the RX7 shogun kit looks funky.

that said, props for being different, even though I find the car absolutely putrid and vile.

I have this to say..

Look at what the hot/street rodders did back in the 50's and 60's..

They would do all sorts of things to cars that didn't follow rules or "guidlines" as to what was socially acceptable.

Chop top, side pipes, chrome, bluedots, 8-track.. you name it.

The only difference today is we have more "styles" and "options" to copy and mutate from.. Some people are still open minded enough to look at someone's work and keep silly notions, that help no one, to themselves..

Eat it.

(I didn't say anyone was wrong here so no one can PnM ;P)

It's been a real long time since I posted in this forum.. but when I saw those pictures.. wow.. just... wow..

What's so upsetting is that that kit wouldn't be made if there weren't people out there who wanted it... what a shame. It looks just plain awful on any car I've seen it on.. and to put it on an american muscle car is just plain insulting. That's so clearly rice.. and hey if you buy into that fad then fine.. but to put it on a Fbody is just plain wrong.

Sure, the guy is doing something "different" kudos to him. Maybe he should have it painted neon green.. or bright pink.. that would be "different" too. I'm not going to value anything or anyone who's "different" just because they're being "unique"... that's just stupid. "Hey, I drive a **** yellow gremlin.. I like being different." WTF.. surely we all know what an ugly car that is.. I hope to God no one ever thought.. "hey kudos to john for driving that **** yellow gremlin, he's being different - a trendsetter"

Y'all need to get your head screwed on right. And someone please point the owner of that vehicle to this thread.. not for his sake but for the car.. that's just sad that someone would do that to such a beautiful ride.

They need car social services. We should report him for vehicle abuse. And to Vomit God, did you even look at those pictures? You must not be a f-body owner if you go along with that. Why not just spraypaint "HONDAH CIVIC" on the sides? Maybe a
"V-TECK" windshield banner? FART MUFFLER TIPS! YEAH!

LOL!! Some people are just too serous.. : /

I was just trying to take the side of:
People do strange things (different to your and my opnion of good taste)
And some of those things end up being innovative and good.
But yes.. Some times it's a horrible disasterous bloody hell of a train wreck..

I looked at the original pictures when this thread was first posted.
I looked at the new pictures as soon as they were available..
I see what the majority of you are saying, I just tend to keep comments that arn't going to "fix a problem" to myself..

If you haven't noticed, the project wasnt scrapped..
(All of your efforts to stop the maddness have failed..)
Give up the hate. Stand back. Watch the show...

Also.. No I dont want one for my car..
Now play nice.. I thought maturity was still valued by people..

I didn't read VG's post as pro-the horrible kit.
He was just stating reality. AS much as we can't
understand why someone would like this kit,
people do.
