On a black Z28 with currently stock silver wheels, but chrome ZR1s coming soon. The reason I want silver is cause im doing everything else silver, rear CAMARO insert, Z28 badging, etc. Im not convinced if silver calipers would look good. Any advice, opinions, or pics?

 

i have a 94 black trans am, with chrome stickers all around and painted my calipers red and put the chrome trans am stckers on them, im not to sure how silver calipers would look never seen it before

 

I wish I could find some pics for you of this guy that done his in silver...he actually had a V6 car and painted the drums silver too. It looked dang good! Everyone that posted in that thread liked it too. It was very sharp though. That is what I am planning to do after I get my new wheels. I am going away from the black/red exterior that I was contemplating on. Black and silver is very nice, and not done near as much.

But yes, the silver calipers look good.

 

Did he have chrome wheels or just silver wheels? Im gonna put chrome ZR1s on my car this spring and wondering if it would look to tacky with the chrome as opposed to his if they were silver wheels.

 

Whew...after lots and lots of searching, I found it...his wheels were silver, that stinks. None the less, here's the link that he provided us with in his CZ28.C post...it's just a post on another board. The caliper pics are toward the bottom of that page. Here's the original thread though. Maybe that will help you decide still yet though. It's not very popular, so I would do it if it were me (which it soon will be ).

Heck, it's not that hard, you can always go to a different color if you change your mind.
