No the ugliest mod to a 4th gen would be putting corvette wheels on a Trans Am like you did, Now that is tasteless.

Uhhhh.... No. Louvers would be, hands down, the ugliest, most moronic mullet-mod you could possibly affix to a 4th gen.

No offense

So is your Camaro your winter car? You MUST have a Civic as your "cool car"

Those halo headlights are the stupidest mods I think. I think the fourth gen louvers are ugly, there are nly a few third gen louvers that look god. Luckily I just scored one for $13.50 on ebay. Should be here anyday.

would you all put a TA Ram Air hood on a vette?? or how about a TA spoiler??? Ofcourse not, Why does anything think putting vette wheels on a TA is any different???, the styles do not match and it is tasteless.

Everybody had these louvers on the 3rd gens, the bottom line is the 4th gens are not much different than the 3rd gens, the body shapes are basically the same, they are all hatchbacks with long low hoods, So why all of a sudden everbody hates louvers, they are practical and I'm seeing dozens of post on here about peoples's tint fading and peeling off, plus you all get the superdark stuff and then complain you can't see at night.

Would you put louvers on a Vette? F*** no, some super secret government agency would swoop in on your house, dragging you out front of your single wide and shooting you execution style on the spot.

Everybody back then also had a mullet, torn Dukes of Hazzard t-shirt and tight *** jeans on. Point: Times change. Louvers are out in most parts of the world.

@ the fact that you complain over Vette wheels on a T/A... And you're talking about putting louvers on a 4th gen in the year 2004.

OK Stay away from Texas. There mullet methods are going to your brain. ( I apologize to all the non mullet Texans for that comment) And I will agree if you mean Z06 rims on a T/A are ugly, but C5 rims look quite nice.

In all my years of going to the track and going to car shows and other F-Body events, I've only seen ONE 4th Gen with louvers on the rear hatch. It also had that chrome plastic door edge guard stuff all the way around the doors, and a ton of stickers and stripes.... so that sort of tells you what kind of taste (or lack thereof) we are talking about here.

Although it may seem "tasteless" to some to put Corvette wheels on a 4th Gen F-body, GM did just that when they chose to put the ZR1 style wheels on the 96/97 SS models...... think about it.

The style dosent match? That is the second dumbest statement of all time, right after "louvers look good on 4th gens" As stated above, Chevy put the Corvette wheels on a Camaro, guess that style dosent match either.

Who cares if 3rd gens had louvers on them. People also thought feathered hair and rolled pants looked good to. You gonna wear em now? And for the record, I had a 3rd gen with them, In 89. If I had the same car now, you can bet the louvers would be in the garbage.
