side molding
STRIP IT OFF!!!, its easy, get a hair dryer, heat it up, and peel off... then scrap off the residue and use some goo gone to finish her off, finally a nice wash and polish/wax the area on the doors...
I pulled my side moldings just a few days ago. I like the removed look better, but the residue was a real pain to get off. I tried picking at it, but that would have taken days to get it all off. I found the best way to remove the residue was to power it off with your thumbs and fingers. Rubbing it hard will "roll" the glue backing off. Doing it this way ran me about 30 minutes, and several BIG blisters, but it worked.
Careful though, it looks like GM put the moldings on and then the clear or something, because I have drip-like crap under that moldings.

i just removed the molding on mine a few days ago...just like everything i do the second one takes a lot less time, i figured out that one the long strips along the door, if you pull the modling down, and not just out, that the sticky tape comes off on the molding...so the second one took less than five minutes to remove, and then i cleaned it and it was done, the first one though took a little longer, and i used the finger thumb rolling method, which sucked...and i like it alot better...take em off!
