Question Should I buy racing stripes!?

I have a 2000 Camaro Z28 and am tring to make it into a show car. I decided that I don't want to get a aftermarket hood, so was thinking about getting black racing stripes (or possibly diff color). The reason for keepin the stock hood and whatnot is because I'm tring to keep the Z28 image.

So if you guys can give me a simple answer to getting black racing stripes, it would help out alot , and here are what the stripes I have in mind look like: http://www.fourthcirclecreations.com...leystripes.jpg

***I would like everyones opinion, even if its a simple "do it" or "don't do it". THANKS!

- HID lights
- Polished billet grille

Now THOSE are some sweet stripes ! ! Notice how the gap in the middle stays straight ! That is sweet.

However, for a show car, nothing helps more than rims, and a detailed (SWEET LOOKING) engine bay etc... you wouldn't need stripes at all..

Well I do have boyd coddintong rims planned in the near future (18x9 all 4) and I will be lowering my car soon. Clean car and engine bay... well thats already all done , pretty much everything metal in my engine bay looks like chrome.

I was talking to Jay from 3rdgendecals and he recommended this kit: http://www.3rdgendecals.com/RickM.htm

Now in the pics I think the stripes are a bit to far apart... but if I got this kit I would have them a bit closer. So should I get this kit? Which would look better?

Damn, definately don't put the stripes that far apart...they look LOST ha ha.. but either one of those stripe kits could look REALLY sweet man.

I think the lines of that first one u posted flow alot better with the lines of the LS1 hood.
