I just cut about 6 inches off mine and stuck a miniature piece of rubber on the end sort of whats on the end of a walkie talkie antenna. Looks way better than it did and the radio picks up the same.

Will the Eckler's antenna fit on the Camaro? It says it's made for the vette.

Just cut your stock one and round the top of it with a grinder or sandpaper. You dont need the ball on top. My radio picks up the same with or without the ball on top. My antenna is about 18" tall right now and it still picks up the same.

One more vote for just shaving it here. I relocated my antenna to underneath the plastic piece by the windshield.

The look sells it: http://www.aldersgarage.20m.com/images/p8181213.jpg
