Also, i went out and measured my stocker and they should be around the same size both around 2.25 in or so

I have been emailing them back and forth. I'll probably be getting one by them as well. The smallest they offer is a 2 1/8 ball, which I will probably get. Definatly let me know as soon as you get yours to let me know of the quality. Also make sure to post some pics!

Re: Shifter *****?

I am trying to order mine today. Did you go with the 2 1/8, or the 2 1/4? Post pics please once you have it in your car!

Re: Shifter *****?

i got the regular it seems to be smaller than the stocker and probably small enough for me the little bit makes a difference. im gonna take a dye and tap down the threads on my short stick and maybe cut it to get it to a good height because it sits a little higher than the stock one

as for pictures i may be able to get some in a couple of days when i can get it done (i dont have a digital camera)

Re: Shifter *****?

Got it all done and looks and feels great. cut off about 7/8 of an inch of thread and tapped down the threads quite a bit. got it all down to the point where you could barely stick a finger between the plastic and **** in 2nd. its great i didnt think id feel the difference in the throw but i do , nice and short

and yea still trying to get some pics

next thing ive been thinking about is boots but i am unsure of the color. any ideas for a dark green car with a tan/moca interior (pics on cardomain page)

I think the black looks good. The tan would also match though. I just ordered my shifter **** today. They told me because I am having mine engraved that it will take 5 weeks to ship to me, so it'll be a while before I can show you what mine looks like as well.

Re: Shifter *****?

I don't know if the **** is the same size, but Dodge Vipers definitely used to have T56 transmissions.

Re: Shifter *****?

The size I got was 2 1/8. I got really used to that size when I recieved that same size **** for my Formula shifter from MBA. Thanks for the comments. It took a while for me to find what I wanted (something custom and different looking while still keeping the ball shifter), but finally I am happy with what I chose. The company at first did screw up the order, and it took like a month, but they did eventually get it right, and I am very pleased with the finished product. I would reccomend them.
