Shaving/Styling the Firebird
Shaving/Styling the Firebird
As soon as spring hits my car is heading to a buddies shop for a complete paint job. I wanted to bring some ideas to him but was hoping somebody have previous experience/pictures.
I want to:
1)Shave the "PONTIAC" on the rear bumper if possible.
-Pictures anyone? Or is it even worth doing?
2)Remove the strips going down the door that "protect it", which won't protect against anything because my car sits too low anyway.
-Will this make the car look smoother or more awkward?
3)Remove Trans Am Emblems on door.
This ones easy enough, I just don't want them on there.

I'm getting a complete paint job done, so I am just picking out what I want to do before i take my car there and we can get right to the point. So with the side moldings off it doesn't look "off"? As far as the shaved lettering on the back, have you seen anything like this?
