Shaved, gloss black berger panel on my car (pics)

I had my tail panel shaved and used VHT Niteshades to do a light tint to the red part of the tails.. I have to do clearcoat yet to the driver's side tail though. I'll be getting an emblem, probably a retro Z/28 one, to put in the middle of the panel just under the lock to spruce it up a little.

And here's a pic of the whole car if you were curious

Looks good. I have been wanting to do the shaved black berger panel. What did you use to fill in the letters, Bondo? Or was it something made for fiberglass?

The police here don't care unless they are really dark, almost black. Two days ago an officer actually complimented me on how clean my car is So he didn't care about the tail lights.

Also it looks like my image hosting service went the way of the dodo. I'll try to get the pics back up.

Nice. That looks good. I've considered doing that to my blue car, but I wouldn't paint it black...just shave it.

Retro emblem for sure My panel never came out perfect. The post office banged up the box for the panel when I got it and it had a crack which I repaired.. but I can see where it is now. And where I smoothed out the C, I sanded a bit too much and I can see a wave...

but it is my favorite appearance mod on my car!
