It's also cool to have shaved door handles too, really gets peoples attention when you walk up to your car and yell "what the Hell!!!...... someone sole my door handles" but once again I wouldn't recommend doing it unless your getting the whole car repainted.

That looks amazing!!!!!

I am shaving my antenna (I removed it, but the stupid mounting plate is still there). Antennas are lame!

What brand and model booster did you get and how id you install it? I was thinking of getting a power antenna.
but i think shaved would look soo much better. I listen to the radio alot, so im more interested in how every
one with a shaved antenna relocated it, then how they covered up the hole. any one with other ideas on the
relocation of the antenna let me know. Pic of the relocation would be cool to. o ya... how much did it
cost you for everything

thanks

weaponz. What sort of problems do you have with your shaved doors? I was debating to eather shave or just paint the handles to blend.

The shaved antenna mod looks great. It is an easy one considering the quarter panel is steel. I just took mine and placed it inside of the quarter panel and it does not work as good, but my car isn't exactly a daily driver so who cares. We shaved the antenna, emblems-even the nose, doors, key holes, CAMARO and key hole on the rear fascia, bumper-license plate and side markers, pretty much everything. Here's the problem with shaving the doors-they are a material that expands and contracts at a different rate than anything you try to shave them with-this includes SMC, fiberglass, and now we are going to try plain old bondo! Left door started cracking, and I just can't have that. Sometimes they look good, sometimes they look like crap, wavy, etc. Heat cycles also warp them. The rear light panel has never had a problem. We can't figure out why. Same thing with the front bumper. But the rear bumper moves. We just cut it down and repainted it again. Hopefully it is done moving. I don't know if it is a material problem-my shop only uses dupont product and they are the best of the best in SoCal and they can't even figure it out. I would recommend NOT shaving your door handles unless your car is white and you plan on keeping it that way.

I honestly don't remember the brand but i got it at circuit city. all you do is run power to it and it plugs into your antenna jack on your deck like all other ones do. it is a very small rectangular box and i just placed it in my glove box. it works perfectly. i think it was like $20 or so.

I am definately going to be doing this. I was planning on welding a small medal piece from the inside, then filling the spot with duraglass. I am getting an XM reciever for Christmas I hope, so I won't need the antenna after that anyway.
