Seat options?

Need to replace my front seats. So I'm going to do one of the following.(1) Take them to the local shop and have them redone.(2) Try to find replacements from a Camaro or TA/Firebird.Do the TA/Firebird seats bolt right up? Mine have power on the drivers and manual on the passengers.Just needed some input before I post in the wanted section. Thanks

Yes, the FB seats bolt right up... Or people have used C5, GTO, and Grand Prix seats, etc. with alittle fabrication on the mounts..

i'm lookin to do the same thing.

Place around here that specializes in auto upholstery quoted me 200 bucks to repair my drivers seat with vinyl. Double that for leather.

93-02 seats all bolt up the same, and I think even the 3rd gen Camaros 82-92 might also work. But check! I bought some white leather 30th Anniversary seats from a wreck 1997 Z28, and it bolted up easy in My 1994 Z28.

Thanks guys. Now I just need to find the seats.Going to try and find the rears while I'm at it . I like the TA seats because of the fact of the Lumbar support,My back gives me problems during long trips and that would help me out.

I'll look into that,I'm sure there's a thread somewhere.

Even if your car came with manual seats, you SHOULD still have the power plug tucked into your carpet under the driver side. My 95 did and all I had to do was plug in the power seat. Was already hot.

Yeah, the stock seats are difficult to find. I see them on eBay from time to time. Nearly $900.00 for NEW OEM seats!! Does anyone have any experience with these seats?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Carbo...item45f5e1b5ee

Or these:

Or these:

I personally prefer the first ones, but has anyone installed any seats other than C5, Firebird/Camaro, or other GM cars?
