Rubber window guides keep popping up?

I have a 96 TA and the rubber window guides that attach to the top of the door have come loose. There seems to be some clip mechanism that holds them on, but every time I push them down, they pop back up.

Do I need to replace these pieces? Has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it?

I'm not sure, but I would assume you just need to replace the clips.

A guaranteed fix, would be to do what they(GM) used to. And that's poprivet them to the door.

I had the same problem on my pass. side so i just bought a new one. What a PITA! It is such a pain to try to get all the little clips on and not scratch the hell out of you door. They also cost like $40 or $50 if I remember correctly, what a rip off. It definitely fixed it though but now my drivers door is doing the same thing.

Im not exactly sure on the part numbers.. I will have to look into that for you. but for the installation I had both door panels and mirrors off at the time witch gave the window a little more room to move back while i slid the metal clips into their slots. Its actually not too bad if you just take your time.
