Round headlight mod, what are my options?

I know people are using several different housings for this mod, and I was just wondering what works and what doesn't?

Thanks
Clint

Piaa (or Piaa style) fog/driving lights and the Hella 90mm headlights are your options for round lights. People have also used the Hella FF driving/fog lights (or style lights), but they are rectanglar in shape.

In general, any setup will give better output than the stock setup, but they all vary in intensity and hotspots. The Hella 90mm would be the best since they are actually real headlights, giving the best beam pattern. The Piaa style gives off more light, but it is not as focused as the stockers. They have a broader and longer beam pattern which helps, but the light isn't as concentrated as the stockers. Note, the Piaa style lights perfromance can vary based on how they are mounted. Regardless, any modification is going to be custom, there are no kits available and the one that was(Rytek), I believe is off the market.

By style do you mean any housing that is similar? I've seen pilot lights that look like they would fit, but then again I've never heard of anyone using them.

thanks for the info.

Here is a link to the headlight modification I have done. This is not one of those IMO cheesy hella foglight conversions. I bought and installed OEM Audi HID projectors. This was not an easy project by any means and cost near $500 to complete. I first bought a pair of e-code Audi projector (from A3 to be specific) and then Hella ballasts and Philips D2S capsules. The finished product is unbelievable and night lighting is excellent. The beam pattern and cutoff are VERY sharp and outlined by a very intense purple/blue hue that is also very noticeable to uncomming drivers. Its basically an OEM Audi headlight in a 97 Z28. So you have seen what Audi HID's look like. Here are some detailed photos of the projectors and what I had to do to get them to work and fit properly, the bulb and ballasts, and cutoff and downroad illumination.
