on thirdgen.org i saw a guage mod that uses LED's for light in the guages, i was wondering if any1 would think that if i would put led's hroughout my car (such as under seat, in some trim pieces, consol ect) would it be RICE?

I'd say go for it, whatever you feel like you want your car to look like is your choice, just keep it tasteful, and not overdone...

 

In a place where there are lights originally, or where there needs to be they are fine IMO, great even.

In a place where they are put just to look cool or emit light for no real purpose, they are gay. :cough: under seat :cough: In that sense, why wouldn't you just go ahead and get neons? They are much brighter usually...(catch my drift? Not picking on you, just giving you a for example...)

If they were going to have to be categorized as something when they are used untastefully, then just call it gay, or tacky.

Becasue VERY VERY VERY VERY (catching a pattern here? ) few are done tastefully, most are hideous(sp)...

 

If LED's are rice then there are a hell of a lot of big rig truckers that have riced out their trucks.

I would have them on my car.

I have LED'S in my ac vents, they are hooked up to a switch so i can control them and I get nothing but compliments on them

my bro had some lil neons in the vents in my s10 (when it was his truck) and it looked sweet.....i might do somn like that but i dunno, i wunna keep the intereor kinda subtle when it comes to the dash besides the guages.......who knows tho,

btw, sweet lookin leds in the vents
