I had heard of this kit, seen some things on it, but till I saw this picture:

Did I think it was at all neat. One of the most interesting things I have seen... Granted it's a pain in the *** for some things and I see a lot of car companies doing similar things (like the covers GM uses on the series II 3800 supercharged engines, northstar engines etc) and other companies.

So if you wanted to do work on the car you'd have to pull some of it off...

Have there ever been any others? Carbon fiber or even a fiberglass that'd take the heat, but something to just make it a little prettier under there? I know the Lt1 vette covers and ls1 covers make things look a lot nicer, but was there ever any other companies doing something similar? I know MBA does stuff, chrome this chrome that, sure. Chrome your alternator. But I dont want a big shiney plate over my battery. I want you to see the chrome intake manifold, not the chrome battery cover.

If I had the time I'd try it myself, but I really dont!

O MAN that was so sweet, im going for the carbon fiber look on my car and i wish that was a kit. what do you mean do it your self. but a sheet of carbon fiber and cut it out?? that would blow

I dont think i understand what your asking do you want just carbon fiber fuel rail covers because you can get those here
or do you want fuel rail covers and those other side covers like in your picture?

Edit: i see now you have a lt-1 camaro lemme do some searching i think i have seen carbon fiber lt-1 covers somewhere

No i have a ls1...2000, I mean besides fuel rail covers, how can I get the rest of that stuff
