Question Rk Sport Body Kit

Does anyone have pics of the rksport body kit? I looked on there website but they only have one pic and you cant see the back. I was thinking about getting the kit but want some better pics first.

Re: Rk Sport Body Kit

I think if it's the same one I'm thinking about, it's a "copy" of the Wings West body kit. It's not terribly noticeable if you're not looking for it, but the front valance (at least) is different. Even though the difference is only slight, I like the Wings West front end more than the RK Sport front end...

its different then the ww kit. The front is a solid piece, no gaps or whatever like ww. Blus the rear is a little different. Do a product search on cardomain for rksport and wings west under body styling. You should find some camaro's on there with the kits.

I've already got the Wings West kit, and I've seen the RK Sport one in person, so you and I must be talking about two completely different body kits, which is possible, since I know RK Sport makes at least two different kits for the Camaro...

Re: Rk Sport Body Kit

Here's the RK Sport one I'm referring to:

http://www.rksport.com/product/p_01011000/view_detail

Here's the Wings West one I'm referring to:

http://wingswest.com/products_detail.asp?page=1&id=110

If you look, the front valances are almost identical, only the "holes" are smaller in the RK Sport model. Upon closer inspection, it appears that the rear valances also differ slightly. The WW kit has a plastic partition that separates the exhaust tips, whereas the RK kit is completely without one...

yea, but the person who started the threads name is maro98. im assuming he has a 98 camaro, not a 93-97. 98 and up, the rksport and ww are different

edit: btw sgfuryz, just looked at your ride... beautiful. got any other pics than the few on your page?

Gotcha. I didn't even bother looking at what year Camaro he had...

Where did you find images of my ride? I've got them up on MyCarSpot.com, here:

http://www.mycarspot.com/rides/925

That's the stat page, which is viewable by all, but I think you have to register with the site to view my photo gallery...

Umm... no. RKSport had theirs out first. They worked with the factory GM designers to make theirs. That's why it's more subtle and not as gaudy and outlandish as the Wings West kit. If anything Wings West copied RK's design and just made it bulkier.

Here's mine with an old picture from the back:

Well, it's just my personal opinion, but I prefer the Wings West kit over the RK Sport kit anyday. The Wings West kit isn't that gaudy. It's only a slightly larger design than the RK Sport one, and it has more pronounced "scoops" on the front valance...
