I agree with, 17x9.5 with really low-profile tries, with out doing any body modifications.

I was considering about having different size rims on the back of my car. I was thinking 9.5 in wide in the front, and 11 in wide in the back......I have 16in KMC rims that I love the look of and found a shop that can widen them for me. Any opinions on different size rims in the front and back? thanks guys

Adam,

I don't think it would really be worth it unless you are REAAAAALLYY gettin a hookup on that widening deal. I heard that was expensive as HELL. Plus is there any kind of warranty on that work ? You wouldn't be able to swap out tires from front to back, and unless you are building the Z for race only, do you really need 11's in the rear ? ?

I forget what you had in mind for the Z Is it gonna be raced primarily ? or daily driven ?

PT: yea i dont know about 11's....the cost isnt really that bad (compared to new rims), it is 225 per wheel (only 2 would be done) plus shipping, whick will be 100 bucks both ways(I am told from my manager at work). Shiping wont be bad because I can do it through the business I work at. I am probably going to go with 10" or 9.5......I am going to use it mainly for a daily driver, but i want to get kicked in the *** when i gas it. racing would be fun, but I would get different rims to use for racing
