Reupholster worn, ripped seats?
Reupholster worn, ripped seats?
Anyone have any idea what it would cost to reupholster a worn leather SS seat? Do i need to buy the foam from GM?
Or are there any places that sell aftermarket seats or seatcovers for the 97SS camaro?

not sure on the SS but for my 95 T/A i was able to get brand new upper seat foam for my drivers seat from GMpartsdirect.com for $37 shipped last january. i ordered the upholstery kit from hawks and i probably could have installed all of it myself if not for the fact the side bolster plastics from my original seat covers needed sewn in since they are discontinued. i did the back seats myself and probably could have done the fronts if not for the sewing. This only applies to the Trans Am with the AQ9 articulating seats w/ side bolsters. you won't have this issue with a camaro. here's a few pics of my seats. The upholstery was $425 shipped and i paid $450 to the shop to sew and install the front seats (was going to be $250 but then i had trouble reassembling the seats after they put everything in so i had them finsh the reassembly which cost another $200)
