Replacing door lock *****

One of the door lock ***** on my '95 TA was missing when I bought the car. The little metal "stick" is still there, but the black plastic **** is missing. Any tips on how to replace it?

Also, I found a site selling rear hatch release buttons...did these cars come stock with them? I havn't had the car long, but I've never noticed a hatch release in the car. I've always just used the key to unlock the trunk.

You just need to find one from a salvage yard or i can sell you one. They simply snap on to the metal rod. You have a hatch release in your glove blox. and on your key fob you should have a hatch release

The car didn't come with any key fobs. Just a set of keys. One for the ignition, one for the doors/trunk.

If it just snaps overtop, you just made my night. lol

How much are you asking for the plastic ****? The wrecking lots up here are awful, they've all switched to focus 95% on imports. Its hard to find anything domestic, they're mainly crushed.

Think of another piece or two that you might need, go to the salvage yard for those, and get the lock **** at the same time. Chances are they'll just tell you to pocket the ****. I went to the salvage yard a couple months ago, bought a passenger side seat and LT1 foglights, and got one of those ***** for my T/A door panel conversion. He told me I could just have the **** since it was such a small part.
