repainting and filling little spots
repainting and filling little spots
hey guys, ok i was driving my car last night, and hit a piece of metal with my tire, it flung up and hit my door, and put a nice big scrape in it, took off some paint and made a couple scratches, anyways, i know like almost all of my car is fiberglass except the back two quarter panels are metal, but is there any sites or any ideas of how to fix fiberglass plastic like that? ive done a little metal painting but i really wuold like to know more before i tackle this so it turns out really good, any help is appreciated!!! thanks everyone in advance
so its just scratches in the paint? no body damage?
if so then its the same as metal.
If its all the way through the paint then to make it completely go away is painting the door, if its jsut surface then just it should polish out.
You can make it as good as you can by filling the scratches with toutch up, and then let it dry for a couple days, then wetsand it and then polish and wax.
**Do not do that if you dont know what your doing, wetsand can damage your paint very easy**
