Im going to be repainting my car here sometime in the next couple of weeks and i was wondering what color yall thought i should get it painted. Now i dont want something too flashy but i want it to look good. My car is currently silver and i really do like it, i dont see too many silver firebirds around here and people seem to think that it looks good on my car. I was thinking about going with a sunburst orange or something like that (i think thats what its called, it has a mix of red and orange) or some bronze-orange color or some exotic blue color or something. I dont really want to spend that much on paint though so if its going to cost that much more to get a custom color like that then im going to stick with silver or go with a better looking silver color (i love silver on firebirds) and i dont want black or any green looking color.

I saw a trans am on here once that was painted that orange-red color. Is that a stock color and if it is would it cost the same amount to get that paint as it would to get the stock silver paint? Anybody have any other ideas?

 

i just found the name of the orange that im looking at...its called sunset orange metallic. What do yall think about that color?

 

i would go with hugger oranger, the orange you said, or the ws.6 yellow color.

 

how much more would it cost to do a complete repaint of my car in the sunset orange instead of just getting it repainted silver? IM not looking at spending much more than 2000-2500 dollars on a paint job.
