Its not millenniun yellow but it this might give you an idea of what it might look like. There are alot of things I need to clean up on the car(exe-the bra) but for now, thats as good as she gets. I get tons of complements on the car. It realy sticks out in a crowd of cars. I would say go for it. Oh, by the way, I say go for the Torque Thrust II's. I wish I went with those instead of the SS rims but its a little too late now. Good luck and Im sure you'll let us know what you decide. Hope this helps.

Pics are in the sig.

I like bright blue metallic (99 color) as well as electron blue. A friend of mine had a BBM 99 Z28, and the thing turned alot of heads. Looked great with the black roof/mirrors.

I can't remember exactly what millenium yellow looks like, but if you do go yellow, make sure what you get isn't too "mustardy." There's a yellow SS on either your site or the "supplemental appearance guide" which looks really good - nice and bright.

Eventually I'd like to paint my '93 Z28 BBM, but the car is red now, and I'm guessing it's going to be VERY expensive to do a full color change. Your car is black, so you could leave the engine bay the original color and have it not look out of place. Just need to shoot the door jambs/hatch jambs/etc

Was looking on eBay and found a picture of a yellow Camaro. Not sure if it is millenium yellow, but here you go.

Cool

Thanks for all the opinions, guys!

I still don't know what to do though!!! LOL!

I talked to the body shop guy today and the price he gave me to switch to yellow was reasonable so that makes it even harder now He'd take off the doors, the rear hatch, everything necessary so the only way you'd be able to tell it wasn't yellow from the factory would be to look under the hood (not doing the entire engine compartment). He'll even do the t-top area.

I'd definitely like having something different but I also like black a lot. arrgghh!

I did get the check in the mail today from the insurance company so all I need to do is make up my mind what the heck I want to do! I'm going to have to think about this for a couple days but I do think I'm going to end up doing it... or maybe not?

jkayner, you mentioned keeping the headlight area the same color. Hmm... I'm thinking I'd have it painted gloss black along with painting the fog light area black. I think that would look good with the black grille in the SS hood scoop.

Michelle, you say the millenium yellow is a three paint process? Can you elaborate a little and are you sure? The paint guy didn't mention anything about this and I've looked closely at my bud's millenium yellow C5 and it looks like a solid color to me???

Thanks for the pics as well, guys!

Now to sleep on this for a couple days I think.

I'm with you, jkayner. I think 93-97 Camaros look great like that.

Since we're throwing colors out there, how about Imola sunset?? It's badass.

Holy Cow!!!

Guys, I can't make up my mind between just TWO colors and now you are throwing all sorts of others into the mix as well. LOL!

Still thinking... not sure what to do. But, what I am thinking is this... paint it millenium yellow and if I don't like it, sell it I figure I'll be able to get more for it with a professional quality paint job in millenium yellow than if I were to just repaint it black Sound logical? LOL!

Brent,

Paint it YELLOW man!!! Keep the roof, mirrors, headlight and foglight area gloss black. I think it will be too much yellow if paint those areas. Since your engine bay will be black you could have a stb painted yellow to match the car, and maybe do some yellow wire loom. Just an idea.

I would go with the yellow if the rims are gonna be chrome. If they are silver rims, then I would say go with electron blue or stay black.
