When I purchased my car, it had a big ol' windshield banner on it. I wasn't a big fan, so I busted out the hairdryer and peeled it all off. Seeing as the stickers had been on there for 7 years, it left an outline around each of the letters that I tried my best to get off with Goo-Gone. When the car gets wet, however, you can still blatently see the outline of PONTIAC on my windshield. What can I do to truly remove any trace of this? Thanks guys.

 

My friend has the same problem, only on his rear window. I think you just have to live with it unless you get a new windshield

 

It goes away eventually it just has to weather

 

I got some glass stripper and it takes things like that right away. I forget the name of it right now but i'll post it when I remember it. Oh yea, I bought it at pep-boys
