Removing headliner from car with ttops?

I know what to do and all, but how do I get that plastic pin out from between the ttops? I have pulled as hard as I can, and it won't come out?

Why would you take out your headliner?

There's a small spot in the back that is starting to sag a little. I want to go ahead and take care of it.

There is a special tool you should use to get that pin out. It is made specifically for that job. I used it when I did my t-top conversion, and when I pulled down the cover on the inside of my rear hatch to put on the new spoiler. It looks just like a screw driver, except the end is angled like a crobar (for leverage) and the tip is like a blunt, two-pronged fork. It has a 'u' shape in the middle to get around the pin and pop it out. Im sure you can call an automotive place and describe it to them. They should have it. Like I said, that's specifically what it is made for. Most of a cars interior trim pieces are held in with those little pins. Good luck. John.
