Re: removing emblem

Heat gun or a hair drier. A plastic window tint scraper to prevent scratches. Bug and tar remover works awesome at removing adhesive!!! Uded it on my 97 Cavalier, no marks at all, look like it wasn't even on there....BIGUP!!

Re: removing emblem

I've even heard of guys running fishing line behind the emblem to cut the tape. But I can't help but think that the heatgun idea would probably work a little better. Dunno though, haven't tried either.

Re: removing emblem

Turpintine and a copper brush will do nicely.

Seriously though, I used a hair dryer on mine.

Then cleaned up the left over sticky crap with some Goo-B-Gone.

Re: removing emblem

use some thin wire and work it behind the emblem. I have done this numerous times with no problems.

Re: removing emblem

used hair dryer, goo gone, dental floss, and fishing line on my side door moldings and front nose bird... the combo of the hair dryer, then working behind the emblem with floss/fishing line took them right off, then used goo gone to get the rest of the adhesive off.
