i have a 94z and my ttops have these little black dots all over it which i guess block some sunlight... but i was riding in my buddies ls1 and i noticed his ttops were clear.. i was wondering if there is anything that will take those dots off without scratching the glass or making it dull.

 

Its called a dot-matrix, I believe 94 was the last year of it on T-Tops... But I could be wrong. I dont believe you can take it off, but who knows, might be wrong on that too...

 

probably the best bet is to just get the LS1 t-tops and swap them.

 

I've got a 95. I'm pretty sure the dots are there (under the velcroed in sun shades).

cant you remove them and put on new tint or no?

 

I think they're etched into the glass so I don't think they scrap off.

 

Damnit, my 94 had those and I was upset when I bought my 95 and it didn't have them. They did a muuuuuch better job of providing shade compared to the tint alone.
