The most common thing I have seen done is put a piece of black vinyl over top of it. I do not think you can completly remove the dots.

Well, the only thing I can tell you is grab a box of razor blades and go to town. I wonder if there is some sort of solution you can put on there to make them come off.

If it is, or it is like, window tint then ammonia will help get it off.

You can't completelly remove them. You can make them less pronounced under the tint.Get a scraper and some extra blades and scrape them down.

When you do this if you have rear widow defogger scrape to the top of the hatch in case you slip. That way you won't screw up the defogger.Make sure you keep the blade as flat as possible to the glass so you won't scratch it.

Make sure you keep a sharp balde in the scraper. If you do this the tint will lay over the dots alot more evenly and won't be as noticable.I did this to the rear hatch of mine, the first one before the glass was busted out when the car was broken into and it work really well.Could hardly see the dots under the tint and i had 5% limo on the hatch glass.

Hope this helps out man.
