I've had my car for 2 years and this is the first time I even thought about the fact that the moldings were already gone when I bought it. I never even noticed! I like the looks without them as well.

I've been tossing and turning trying to figure out what wheels to run or what finish I want on them, and I think you just sold me on the gunmetal

They're the OEM Z06 wheels and I believe they call the color Magnesium but gunmetal is probably an easier description.

The side molding on my TA is starting to look like total crap and I really want to take it off... I am just scared that it is going to leave to crap underneath looking like crap. Sure, plenty of people have no issues but I know a lot have had issues Any suggestions?
