red z in Norman, Ok

I saw a red Z28 (93-97) at school (the university of Oklahoma) and I was wondering if they were a member. The reson I ask is because it had a beautiful aftermarket SS hood. I have never seen one line up this well, and I wanted to know who made it. Also does anyone have good pictures of the fitment of the different manufacturer's hoods? Does any one have ASR and a functional SS hood?

Thanks,
Matt

Well, your right, I am not postive that it was aftermarket. But I assumed because it was on a Z28 that the person would not shell out the major $$$ for an oem hood. I also thought you had to have an SS production number to get one. Anyway I am thinking about getting an american sports car one just because it is already functional but I have heard bad things about the fitment.

If it has a grille, and rims, etc. Then thats me. I go to OU. Didn't realize there were local members. gamer is yours a z? That white z with the rims like mine is supercharged, he used to live by me, he is a pretty cool guy. I was actually thinking of starting an OU f-body club (or just sports car club) if anyone would be interested.

Someone tried to steal a center cap off your car at school. Thats scary to know. Sounds like high school all over again. I used to hear the ricer saying how they got stuff stollen off thier cars. And no mine's only a v6, but i guess that ok insurance is cheaper tho. I just got my pewter camaro over the summer in july. I used to have a 95 blue camaro for my first car.
