Question Red Flames on Red Car

My Camaro is Fire Red, I want flames on it instead of stripes. How about a different color red, maybe Candy Apple Red? Can anyone give me some input on what red to go with?

Go slightly darker than the paint you have on your car, and I mean slight. Get that "ghost flame" thing going. That will look pretty damn nice. Can't say I've seen a car like that yet. Good luck!

Same color flames usually look better when you go a shade or two lighter - or more depending on how much you want it to stand out. If you go darker, the flames look too demanding, and don't flow well. Choose a metallic red of a lighter shade.
