The back part of my rear seat is splitting down the middle were it is sewn together. I've seen this on a lot of 4th gens with leather, i'm guessing the heat attacks the stitching and it breaks down over the years. My car looks about perfect to me except for this, and it's clearly visable when looking int the hatch. Has anyone ever had this repaired? I'm thinking about bringing it to an upholester but want to see what others have paid to have theirs repaired before I spend more then I should on this.

 

I'm not exactly Martha Stewart. I can't sew a hole in a pair of jeans, forget about a seat.

 

A perfect excuse to !rearseat.

 

Nah, this is my daily driver for most of the year and i need the back seats. I'm gonna take the cover off and see what my mom can do lol.
