rear antenna....HELP!

bought a car cover today for my 96 Z. went to put it on and noticed that my antenna dosent go down, and its not the kind that screws off either. I have had an aftermarket CD player put in since ive owned it, but to tell you the truth ive never really paid much attention to the antenna.I never listen to the radio, so i dont have much use for an antenna. Is there any way i can hook a ground and a hot lead to some wire back in there and just get it to come down (if the motor even works) Im putting the car for the winter and id like to get the cover on ASAP... any ideas fellas? thanks

Re: rear antenna....HELP!

I just used a hole-punch and punched a hole in my car cover. It was free, easy, and the best solution.

If you got the SLP cover then it should of came with a kit to patch a hole for the antenna and then seal it so it wont leak

got it at summit on clearance....not an SLP cover but i had the guy price it for me and saw the 150$ sticker new... no instructions or anything but the cover itself in the box. the cover is made by a company called "WOLF".

Seriously, just a hole punch and use a hot glue gun to put a bead of glue around the edges of the hole so it won't ravel. Works like a charm.
