Ready, set, go
Hello all!
I am the newest addition to the board. I have been keeping up with most of the posts but haven’t registered because I am not in fact a Camaro owner. However, tomorrow is the big day. Tomorrow I drive my truck down to the dealer and pick up my 2000 Convertible Camaro SS. I've done my research and from what I gather it looks clean and drives like a charm. Is there anything I should know before investing my money into this car? Any regrets or experiences you have? Is the convertible a bad idea? Any comments or help will be most appreciated. Thanks!!

It beats what you got
, you'll love the camaro, but make your getting what you want, there is such a variety, you can get t-tops or a convertable, or you can get a trans am, which is basically the same car with a different sytled interior and exterior, a lot of people like the TA looks over the camaro, i like the camaro interior more and i love both exteriors, A SS is basically a corvette for a fraction of the price, you won't regret buying it, but there is a lot of cars around make you get what you want, don't settle for a convertible if you like the t-top cars look better.

Your going to love the LS1, it is one smooth engine, it's one of the best car engines in the world, just as big as a ferarie's and just as smooth and efficient, And if you haven't heard they are underated, they average 300 hp to the wheels.
make sure you're getting the transmision you want too, 6 speed is available
