racing stripes on a v6?

is that wrong? i think it would look really good to have silver stripes on my car, maybe even 35th ann. stripes even tho my car is a 98. anyways to me it seems kinda weird to have a slow car with 'racing' stripes but it would look good

racing stripes on a v6?..............is that wrong?
IMO, no. I've seen a couple V6 Camaros done up really nice, and I see nothing wrong with that. It's still an F-body, right?? Just because it doesn't actually go as fast, doesn't mean your car can't look good. At this point in time, so many people have SS hoods on non-SS cars (whether they're Z28's or V6's) that stuff like "racing" stripes on a V6 car is non issue to me. And while I've never driven a V6 Camaro, I doubt that they're slow compared to most cars on the road, so again, I say you might as well make it look good.

Who cares if it is a 6 or a Z28. They are both Camaro's and will look the same.

Hey man...I used to have a V6 had stripes loved them!!! I say do it, its your car do what you like, but dont be a poser. I had my car striped and had it fixed really nice but got tired of being slow, so I did the lt1 engine swap, and I still have my stripes. All my friends say put Z28 badges on it, it didnt come from the factory a z28 and its not gonna come from my driveway a z28, sooooo racin stripes can be urs or whoever, just do it if you like it! Sorry to be rambling.

Yea I used to have a 6 cylinder with stripes as well..I think that it looked awesome...some people didn't agree with my color choice though, but I wanted to be different...I had the Quasar Blue 3.4L and EVERYONE and their mother does white racing stripes on that type of blue and I didn't want to do that...so I experimented, I first bought yellow rear camaro inserts and like they way the colors matched a lot...so I ended up putting on some yellow racing stripes instead of white...despite how some people may call it ricey, it looked pretty damn good IMO and I got a lot of compliments....

Here is a pic of my old camaro
