Racing Stripes

Does anyone here have pictures of their metallic NAVY BLUE (98+) Camaro z28 with white or silver racing stripes? I was thinking about getting some for my car, but I would like to see what they look like first... Thx

Yea, that defiently looks cool. I was also wondering if you can put on those anniversary ones (with the stripes going into checkerd flags) on a Z28 w/ a stock hood.

Yea those are sharp stripes too bro.....your best bet is to check out the car domain site and filter it by the later model maros, and see if you can find some with them installed on a regular hood.

I've got a dark blue metallic one too, and havent decided if I wanna do the stripes or not....pics are in the signature.

I remember seeing an '02 RS at the chevy lot when I was still dreaming of owning one.... It was metallic blue like you say, and had light silver racing stripes, SS wheels, and the bowtie grill. It was brand new, factory optioned that way. It looked bad a$$... the only thing it was lacking was a real mill. v6's dont cut it.

............but I thought I'd throw in a vote for silver stripes on navy blue metallic. White looks good with some color schemes, but with metallic paint, I think you almost have to go with a metallic color (ie: silver)? Maybe I'm wrong though?!

Regardless, I think that in your case, silver stripes would look better than white stripes..............at least that's what I'd do! (and as you can tell, I'm a big fan of stripes ).

Found this one:

www.sounddomain.com/id/camaro2k2

At the bottom of the page he has the checkerd stripes which I think looks really nice.

How much do these sell for, and how do you install them? I know it is viynel, but how would you get it to be centered and all?

Are these what you are looking for?

As far as "installing" them, they should give you a bottle of gel, which you apply directly to the car and it allows you to move the stripe without making it stick. Measuring? Bust out a tape measure i guess...

And definatly go with silver stripes. I have silver stripes painted on my purple metallic car and the two metallic paints compliment each other so well in the sun... Pics in sig if you want ideas...

Those are exaclty what I was looking for. Now, the big problem is what color to choose. At first I liked white but now since I look at it I also like the silver color. Can other people give me input on which they think is better?
