My question was about aftermarket "race" seats. I will probably end up reupholstering my interior soon. And I figure instead of paying all kinds of money to get my seats re done, why not go with a nicer looking aftermarket pair and save some weight while I'm at it. So i started looking around, and I realized...not only are these "race" seats very expensive..but they are way heavy. Does anyone know of any decent priced, reclineable LIGHT WEIGHT style seat? The stockers are 46 pounds per seat, which means they are just under 100pnds a pair...and most of the "race" seats I saw weighed only 10 pnds less. Now I know, from Summit I can order a plastic bucket with cover for like $60...but thats not reclineable...and for a daily driver, thats not really too cool...I would like my g/f to be able to lay out if she wants to.

Just reuposlter your seats yourself with leather from www.leatherseats.com Its not to expensive and it will give you a high quality, custom look
