Quick Question About Interior Painting

From the posts that Ive read If i want to keep the stock texture on my interior plastic pieces then I shouldnt sand them down. But what should I do instead, anything? Or just clean them prime and paint and clear? Ive got a piller pod attatched to my a piller and am wanting to paint that.

Yepp thats all. If you start sanding it will smooth out the texture.

!If you clean them... paint them with krylon Fusion...
That stuff is awesome...

After you paint the pieces, let it sit for a couple days. I did this for a couple of pieces, and it doesnt scratch or flake!

I went to a automotive finishing store and had them match the color of my piller. Im going to paint the spare passenger side and see how it turns out before i paint the driver side to see how it turns out. Ive read a lot of posts saying good things about the krylon paint so I may go that route anyway.
