Quick help with gauges

I bought reverse glow gauges and I got the dash apart fine but I can't get the clear plastic cover off of the gauges. It almost looks as if it is glued on. I have a '99 V6 by the way, help please

Re: Quick help with gauges

I maybe wrong but i'm pretty sure its just like a TA's cluster in which case you just remove the bolts that hold it on.

Nope, there's no bolts holding it in. I got em on, turns out the plastic pieve is glued on but the part that it's glued onto snaps onto the gauges cluster whereas I thought it was glued to the gauges cluster.

Re: Quick help with gauges

You have to pull the gauges all the way out. The clear plastin IS glued to the black plastic. In order to get in there, you have to pull the cluster all the way out and you'll see little tabs at the bottom that you have to push in to open the cluster.
