Those of you who have taken out the black factory grille and painted what is underneath, did you have the holes that hold the factory black grille shaved or filled in? If so about how much did it cost or is it something you can do yourself?

 

Did it myself used plastic weld.Than painted

 

I just left mine....painted everything a nice black semi-flat. Looks pretty good. Pics in sig. Definitely not something I would notice either way.

 

What exactly is plastic weld?

 

a strong adhesive compound for plastics. Like. "welding" plastic.
