Question for those with corbeau seats...

I ordered corbeau bottom mounting brackets #D1068T and D1069T for my car and on the install instructions it says: 'Corbeau stationary side mount brackets are recommended for track use, not bottom mount brackets/sliders. No warranty or representation is made as to this product's ability to protect... bla bla bla, if you die in a crash we are not responsible'

So for those who have installed these seats in their cars, did you just go with the bottom mounts or another type of custom bracket? I'm probably worrying for nothing but just wanted to make sure.

Thanks.

I'd imagine the ones for racing don't slide back and forth. Could be wrong though.

Yeah I'm just going ahead with the install anyways, the passenger side is in now I'm doing the driver side. These brackets aren't the the greatest vehicle-specific ones either.. I had to grind a bit of the bracket in one place so it would fit on the studs well and even then the seat/bracket wouldn't sit perfectly in place like the stocker, now that it's bolted down it seems very solid though.
